Paddle amongst the Bald Cypress of the beautiful Lynches River. Lynches River rises in NC near Waxhaw at about 700 feet elevation, flowing on a short distance to the SC border, and joins the Pee Dee River near Johnsonville. It is about 140 miles long. The section starting at Lee State Park and ending at Big Pee Dee River has been designated as the longest wild and scenic river in SC. RiverRat's happens to be located about center of the scenic river section. It's the perfect spot to kayak, swim on sandy beaches, catch critters, and to lose track of time in the slow pace of the great outdoors!
